Range of spaces

We offer a range of spaces available to hire. Whether you are a professional visiting touring company, amateur theatre group, dance school, business, or private hirer. We can offer you the following:

  • a 502 fixed seat auditorium with full technical facilities
  • a flexible studio space for up to 165 people for tiered and cabaret style seating
  • professional technical assistance and equipment available for hire

For training and seminars

With foyer space and bar areas, Chelmsford Theatre offers the perfect venue for seminars, training, exhibitions, presentations, and performances.

We can offer catering to suit your requirements and budget from hot and cold beverages to a full buffet.  A full bar service is available at both theatres. Please note that food and drink consumed on our premises must be provided by the theatre's bars and catering team.

We can provide a ticketing service for all events taking place in our venues. The box office can also act as an agency for events taking place outside our venues.
