Lunchtime Concerts

Join us for our popular lunchtime Concerts taking place in Chelmsford Theatre Studio. 

Wed 22 Jan: This That and the Other.  Kevin, Penny and Jeffery (in no particular order!) present an exciting assortment of music spanning four centuries, for two clarinets and piano.

Wed 5 Feb: To be confirmed. 

Wed 26 Feb: Join the students from New Hall School’s Senior Division as they take you on a journey through musical theatre. Exploring well known show tunes and some a little less explored.

Wed 26 Mar: Concert pianist,  Catherine Leonard, returns to the Theatre Studio with a programme that will include works by Chopin and Jeffery Wilson.
 
Wed 30 Apr: Terry Hiscock and Roger Trevitt. Terry’s own songs stay long in the memory. Accompanied by Roger on guitar and mandolin, these two will evoke both the golden age of folk music in the late ‘60s while performing songs relevant to today.
 
 
Wed 14 May: Environ Music Group. This group of musical enthusiasts meet in Springfield on Wednesday evenings to share their love of playing and creating a diverse range of music together. Today they share the fruits of their labours with us. 

Wed 11 Jun: Duologue  Penny and Gerry are delighted to offer a diverse collection of music, featuring clarinet, saxophone, guitar and piano. The programme comprises arrangements of pieces from several different genres as well as two of Jeffery Wilson's original compositions.

Wed 2 Jul: Jazz Party  Students and friend of Jeffery are in ‘end of term’ mood with solo and ensemble performances of some ‘cooking’ Jazz!
