This competition is now closed

We are looking for talented young people to record the welcome message that everyone will hear in our Theatre foyers and bars throughout this year’s panto.

It’s a special time of year so we need some special announcements. Are you between 5 and 11 years old and think you can rewrite our usual announcements, making them sparkle with festive panto cheer? Then we want to hear from you!

If you are successful your voice will be used for at least 14 public shows, as well as for 6 of our schools shows.

Here’s the details bit:

• You must be between 5 and 11 years old when you enter the competition.
• You must be available to record your announcements on Thursday 27 November 2024, from 6pm to 7pm.
• To enter you must submit all five of your rewritten announcements via the Microsoft form on the link below, you can also collect copies of the application form at the Theatre Box Office.
• When read aloud your individual announcements shouldn’t take any more than 10 seconds to read.
• There will be three winners, chosen because of the quality of their written introduction. We will be looking for humour, originality, and links to the Snow White.
• You must enter on your own, we cannot accept entries from pairs or groups.
• The closing date for entries is Friday 1 November 2024.

On top of winning the chance to have your voice as part of this year’s panto, you will also win two tickets (1 child 1 adult) to see a show where your announcements are running.
