Parents are welcome to stay onsite, and work remotely in our Theatre Café.
If you would like to see work created, please return to the theatre for 1.50pm
Please wear clothes and shoes you are comfortable moving in
Must bring a bottle of water, snack and lunch with you for the day
Chelmsford theatre can provide lunch at an additional cost, please add this on when purchasing a ticket.

Creative Education: Musical Theatre Matilda (5-9)
Our creative education programme aims to ensure that all children have access to high-quality creative experiences. We promise smaller group sizes, and challenging, engaging sessions lead by professionals in their industry.
Musical Theatre, an exciting way to explore multiple performance strands all at once! The session will begin with some ice breakers, getting you warmed up and ready to work with your cast mates for the day. Then you will start working on developing your performance skills through song and through dance, to a song from the hit musical and now film, Matilda.
We will focus on the song ‘The Smell of Rebellion’, creating a full song and dance routine to the Trunchbull’s big solo!
Musical Theatre is a great confidence builder, and allows young people to develop their communication, teamwork and creativity.
