We want our outreach programme to help us deliver on our belief that everybody has the right to access the arts. These events take part in and around our walls, breaking down bricks as well as barriers to arts engagement.

We believe that theatre has an important role to play in helping local people and local places to grow. We therefore want to hear your voice and learn what cultural and creative activities you want to see in and around Chelmsford Theatre.

Let us know about your ideas and help shape the future of our new outreach department. Contact our Events and Outreach Manager Rachel at Outreach.theatre@chelmsford.gov.uk to start a conversation.

Community

Community

The community will take centre stage in our outreach work. We want to build a programme with the community which is reflective and relevant to you. We are busy behind the scenes working out what this may look like.

Schools

We want to work with local schools, colleges and universities to bring creative learning to life whether that be inside our theatre or inside your classroom.

Young people

Young people

Our work with and for young people is under construction. If you have an idea on what you would like to see and get involved with at your local theatre, we want to hear from you.

We hope to work with young people to ensure our outreach activities and events are relevant to you, exciting and ambitious and importantly reflect your voices.

Get in touch with our Outreach team at outreach.theatre@chelmsford.gov.uk to share your views and ideas.
