Musical Theatre Intensive: Hamilton 12-18
Take a whistle stop tour through what it might be like to be a performer in the West End and Broadway hit, Hamilton the Musical.
The session will start off discussing the storyline and how it has been translated to a musical loved by many and how Lin Manuel Miranda uses rap to convey emotion and deliver history in a unique way.
Following a short vocal warm up, participants will then learn the lyrics of My Shot and Alexander Hamilton before putting together choreography to make a finished routine. There will also be the opportunities for singing and dance solos. This will all come together in a performance for friends and family at the end of the session.
Chelmsford Theatre can provide lunch for an additional cost, this can be added when purchasing a ticket.
