Standing In The Wings are thrilled to be delivering Lighting Workshops for Chelmsford Theatre. These workshops are perfect for young people aged 10-16 who are curious about the world of theatre and eager to explore the electrifying world of stage lighting.

Your will dive into the fascinating world of lighting design, learning how to use colour, intensity, and angles to create breathtaking effects. Whether they’re dreaming of a future on the technical side of theatre or just love being part of something creative, these workshops are the perfect place to start.

Hands-On Experience with Industry Experts
Standing in the Wings are pros when it comes to making theatre magic, and they’re ready to share their insider knowledge with the next generation. Over the course of the workshop, you will get hands-on experience with professional lighting equipment, learning the tricks of the trade from those who know it best. It’s a chance for them to step into the shoes of a lighting designer, experimenting with different setups and seeing firsthand how lighting transforms a performance.

All participants must bring lunch, any snacks and water with them for the day.
