Sophie Duker & Kemah Bob: Tour Warm Ups

Join Taskmaster champ Sophie Duker and critically acclaimed comic Kemah Bob as they warm up some old and new material ahead of their shows in London and New York.

Sophie Duker is a comedian and writer whose favourite things include breaking hearts, taking names and telling jokes with the confidence of a cis straight middle-class white man. Her Edinburgh Fringe Show, Venus, saw her nominated for the Best Newcomer award and gained critical acclaim and five star reviews, leading to a two week sold out run at Soho Theatre.

Sophie was a regular guest on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC2). She has appeared on Live at The Apollo (BBC2), Mock the Week (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4) and Hypothetical (Dave). Sophie is the winner of the 13th series of Taskmaster (Channel 4).

Kemah Bob’s stand out comedic voice has been recognised across the globe. Originally hailing from Houston, Texas her move to London has allowed her to hone her craft and firmly establish herself on the comedy circuit. As a comedian Kemah is sharp, bold and fearless in her approach and delivery – making her one of the most engaging and distinctive voices in comedy.

Kemah’s work primarily centres Black cultural identity, mental health, sexuality, healing and well-being using energy and empathy to bring levity and light to complex issues. They have supported Hannah Gadsby, Nish Kumar, Ramy Youssef, Desiree Burch and Jessica Fostekew on tour. Kemah also created, curates and hosts The FOC IT UP Comedy Club, showcasing women and gender non-conforming comedians of colour, both as a podcast and as a monthly live show at London’s Soho Theatre.
